Ashley moved to Hollywood when she was 17, just after finishing high school. She’s from Jacksonville, Florida.

Ashley and her “Twilight” pals regularly hold game nights.

Green will reunite on the silver screen with “Twilight” co-star Kellan Lutz in the film “Warrior.

One of Ashley’s all-time favorite movies is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and Audrey Hepburn is one of her favorite actresses.

Ashley had never played baseball before filming “Twilight,” so she underwent extensive training for the baseball scene. Instead of using a body double, Ashley really did pitch the ball — and claims she only hit the camera “a couple of times.”

Greene is much taller than her character Alice in the “Twilight” books Alice is 4’10" — and Ashley is 5’5"

Ashley has read all four “Twilight” books, and considered herself a big fan even before she was cast!

Ashley wishes she were as optimistic in real life as her character is, and thinks it’s one of Alice’s best traits.

Greene admits that she felt some pressure when they first started filming “Twilight” because she wanted to make sure fans loved her portrayal of Alice as much as they loved the character in the book.

Ashley’s nicknames are Chewey (Bear) and Asher.

Greene is outdoorsy — she loves to surf, hike and cliff-dive in her free time.

Greene has done modeling work for Vision.

Greene looks up to Audrey Hepburn, Geena Davis, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Felicity Huffman as influential and inspiring actresses.

When Ashley auditioned for “Twilight,” she didn’t have a script of the film to work with.

Greene was spotted out with a mystery man at L.A. hotspot Katsuya in June 2009.

Greene’s “Twiglight” character, Alice, is telepathic. When they’re filming Alice having her visions, Ashley likes to create the entire scene in her head, so that it will seem more realistic.

OMG! When she was growing up, Ashley adored the band “Hanson.”

One of the reasons Ashley is attracted to acting is because it allows her to transform into other people.

Greene didn’t see the finished version of “Twilight” until the official premiere.
