Kellan Lutz arrived in Montreal Monday, June 14, to start shooting his next film. The interpreter of Emmett Cullen in the Twilight Saga embodies the god Poseidon in Immortals, to be released in 2011.
The 25-year-old American finds himself in the studios of Mel’s Cité du Cinema in Montreal. The film, which depicts a battle of Theseus against the Titans also stars Mickey Rourke, Isabel Lucas and John Hurt. It also stars Freida Pinto – the star of Slumdog Millionaire – in the role of Phedre.
In addition, the wrestler Robert Maillet, originally from New Brunswick – who had a role in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes – is dressed and transformed to embody the Minotaur, a monster trapped in the labyrinth by King Midas.
